Madhuri Dixit is 'excited' to play challenging and layered characters

Madhuri Dixit recently recalled how there was a lack of good roles for women in films earlier.

The actress is thrilled that complex and layered characters are being written for actresses now.

Madhuri said that these kinds of roles are being written now and when she gets offered such roles, it makes her very excited.
