Country singer John Michael Montgomery says he's "recovering" from injuries suffered when his tour bus overturned Friday in Jellico, Tennessee.
The 57-year-old vocalist behind songs including 1995's "I Can Love You Like That" and "Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)."
Revealed on his verified Facebook page that he and other passengers were hurt in the crash.
“Despite some cuts and broken ribs, I am doing well.
I will take some time over the next couple of weeks to heal and be back on the road soon," he wrote.
"I am grateful to the medics and highway patrol for their quick response to this difficult situation.
William Salyer of Staffordsville, Kentucky, and Marc Wood of Frankfort, Kentucky, suffered injuries along with Montgomery.
The singer also thanked highway patrol officers and paramedics for a "quick response" to the situation.
Montgomery's upcoming tour dates included a now-removed Sept. 17 appearance in New Braunfels, Texas.
